4) Be prepared: some digital projectors warn about bulbs burning out early.
If you have a digital projector, you’re going to find that typically they come with a really handy feature by which the machine actually tells you when the bulb should be close to burning out. However, this is hardly ever accurate, so sometimes just taking out the old bulb, and putting it back in can reset the machine so you can use the old bulb right up until the time that it does burn out, thereby buying yourself more hours with that same one instead of shelling out the cash on a new bulb early on.
